Are you lost in a musical desert - Momo?

If that means, how did I miss the band Ween? I don’t have a good answer for you. Yes, I’m lost and guilty as charged.

I was making my way through some research for blogging fodder and stumbled onto Ween. Dean and Gene Ween…NP. Ween (”Brothers” Aaron Freeman and Mickey Melchiondo) are beyond talented and have a remarkable sense of humor too! What I especially like, they don’t take themselves too seriously.

If you are listening to one of their albums for the first time and consider it to be normal music,then something is very, very wrong with you!
Musical category for this band is, give it a try - I dare you to try. No, I double dog dare you!! Eclectic Psychodelia. Nope. Bands that remind me of them? None. Zappa, Beck, They might be Giants…these would be fair descriptors, yet somehow I missed badly (but not by a margin 180 degrees). I suspect that the Ween creative process begins with “I wonder what this button does” Pow! Give up now Momo!

I created a “station” on Pandora.com to experience Ween in the fullest. Something for everyone here. I am so happy I did.
